To meet the growing demand for telecommunications services in Quebec, new area codes including 468 area code will be introduced in October 2022.
Area code 468 is approved by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) as a distributed overlay covering existing area codes 819 and 873.
