There is no area code 794 in the United States of America, and, no, you cannot receive a call from phone code 794 in the USA because code 794 is not currently assigned to any geographic area within the North American Numbering Plan (NANP), which is the system used to assign telephone numbers in the United States, Canada, and other nearby countries.
However, a caller can technically spoof a phone number and display a fake area code on your caller ID, including an area code that is not currently assigned. If you receive a call from a number with the area code 794, it could be a spoof or a call from outside the United States. In any case, it’s best to be careful when answering calls from numbers you don’t know.
Area code 794 is not officially planned as a general-purpose area code. The North American Numbering Plan Administrator (NANPA) has not assigned or announced plans to assign area code 794 to any geographic area.
The United States and its territories’ area codes are planned, assigned, and managed by NANPA. When a new area code is needed, NANPA usually looks at the affected area and talks to people who have a stake there before making a decision.
When a new area code is allocated, NANPA often makes a lot of advance announcements about it. The impacted phone companies then have to update their systems and inform their clients. However, there are currently no plans to allocate this code 794 to any specific US region.
